1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ProfitLens ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ProfitLens is an eBay reselling assistant that provides tools for scanning products, looking up sold pricing data, generating AI-powered listings, and managing eBay inventory. The Service connects to eBay's APIs to access marketplace data and manage your selling activity.
3. Account Registration
To use ProfitLens, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. eBay Integration
ProfitLens connects to your eBay account through eBay's official OAuth authorization process. By connecting your eBay account, you authorize ProfitLens to access your selling data, create and manage listings, and retrieve analytics on your behalf. You may disconnect your eBay account at any time through the Settings page. Your use of eBay is also subject to eBay's own Terms of Service and policies.
5. AI-Generated Content
ProfitLens uses artificial intelligence to identify products from photos and generate listing descriptions. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all content before publishing it to eBay. ProfitLens is not liable for any inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
6. Pricing Data Disclaimer
Sold pricing data displayed in ProfitLens is sourced from eBay's Browse API and reflects historical transaction data. This data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice. Actual selling prices may vary. Buy/Pass/Maybe recommendations are algorithmic suggestions and not guarantees of profitability.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service to violate eBay's policies or terms
- Share your account credentials with third parties
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
8. Limitation of Liability
ProfitLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
